What Are the Agency Fees When Selling a Property in Morocco?

When selling a property in Morocco, whether it is a riad, villa, traditional house, or guesthouse, the real estate agency commission is usually 3% including VAT of the final sale price.

This amount represents 2.5% excluding VAT + 20% VAT.

Agency fees are normally paid only when the sale is successfully completed, on the day the final deed of sale is signed before the notary.

The role of the agency is to market the property, organize visits, qualify serious buyers, negotiate offers, and support the seller until the final signature.

At iMarrakech Property, we work with transparency and provide an official invoice for our agency fees in accordance with the applicable regulations.
